Team Feed

How to share updates with parents and players through a public team feed.

The team feed lets you post announcements, schedule changes, and match updates that parents can access via a shareable link — no login or app download required.

Setting Up the Feed

  1. Open your team and tap Team Feed
  2. Tap Generate Link to create a unique public URL
  3. Copy the link and share it with parents (text, email, group chat)

The link looks like: pitch-planner.app/feed/a3x7k9m2

Posting Updates

  1. On the Team Feed page, tap New Post
  2. Choose a type: Announcement, Match Update, or Schedule Change
  3. Write a title (optional) and message
  4. Optionally link the post to a specific match
  5. Tap Post

Match Summary Posts

After completing a match, the summary page has a Post to Feed button that auto-generates a post with:

  • Final score
  • Goal scorers
  • Assist providers
  • Top playing time minutes

You can edit the text before posting.

Sharing the Feed

Once your feed link is generated, you can share it in several ways:

  • Copy Link — copy the URL to your clipboard
  • Share — use your device's native share menu (mobile)
  • Text / SMS — open a pre-filled text message
  • WhatsApp — share directly to WhatsApp
  • Facebook — post to Facebook
  • X (Twitter) — share on X
  • Email — open a pre-filled email

You can also share individual posts by tapping the share icon on a post and choosing Copy, Text, or Email.

Managing Posts

  • Pin important posts so they appear at the top
  • Delete posts you no longer need
  • Parents see posts in reverse chronological order with pinned items first

What Parents See

Parents open the feed link and see a clean, read-only page with your team name, posts, and any linked match info. No account needed, no app to install.
