Publishing and Sharing Your Tournament

Every tournament gets a unique public link. Anyone with the link can view fixtures, results, and standings — no account required.

Publishing your tournament

1. Go to the Share tab inside your tournament
2. Click Publish
3. Your tournament is now publicly accessible at pitch-planner.app/t/[your-id]

When a tournament is published, the public page shows:

• All fixtures (upcoming and completed)
• Live standings
• Match results
• Venue and time information

Sharing the link

Copy your tournament URL from the Share tab and send it to:

• Teams and players via WhatsApp, email, or group chat
• Your club's website or social media
• Anyone who wants to follow along

The public page updates in real time as you enter results — there's no need to re-share the link.

Making a tournament private again

Click Unpublish in the Share tab. The public link will stop working, but your tournament data is preserved. You can republish at any time.

Draft vs. Published

Tournaments start as Draft (private). They become Published when you explicitly publish them. There's no middle ground — either the public can see it or they can't.

Tips

• The public page is read-only — viewers can see everything but can't edit anything
• You don't need to re-share the link after updating results — it always shows the latest data
• The public URL is permanent and won't change
