Entering Results and Updating Standings

Standings update automatically as soon as you enter a result. Here's how it works.

Entering a score

1. Open your tournament and go to the Fixtures tab
2. Find the match you want to update
3. Click the score area (or the pencil icon)
4. Enter the score for each team
5. Click Save

The match status changes to Completed and standings recalculate instantly.

How standings are calculated

For round-robin and group stage formats, standings use standard soccer scoring:

Tiebreakers (applied in this order):

1. Points
2. Goal difference (goals scored minus goals conceded)
3. Goals scored
4. Head-to-head result between tied teams

Correcting a result

Made a mistake? Just click the score again and update it. Standings recalculate automatically.

Knockout results

In knockout formats, entering a score automatically advances the winner to the next round. If it's a draw in a knockout match, you'll need to enter a winner manually (for penalty shootout scenarios).

Viewing standings

Standings are visible under the Table tab. For group + knockout tournaments, each group has its own standings table.

Your public tournament page (shared with pitch-planner.app/t/your-id) always shows the latest standings.
